I got my single inlet, dual outlet 40 series put on today. They ran the pipes out the rear, on the edge of the black piece that has the ball on it. I wanted them on the other side of the frame rail, but since I have the body lift, it would be pretty hard. 2" outlet with 3 1/2 " chrome tips. I'll get some pictures of how they ran the pipes. They used the spare tire carrier area to run them... I couldn't use it any way, because I moved my bumper up after the lift so the holes don't line up. All the more reason to get a rear carrier
! I'll post the pictures on here eventualy. I still havn't posted them of my explorer with the lift on it... no one has a working scanner!!
It is really loud and throaty, just they way I wanted it. Youcan really hear me comming now! I did notice slight performance gains, and I just filled up so I'll post the MPG difference as well. I think it was a good buy, even if it doesn't increase performance or mpg.
