flowmaster 50 series installed

I just got my flowmaster 50 series muffler installed and it sounds great. Its not too loud and its not too soft---Just perfect. It has a nice rumble while idling and a soft roar while going down the road. I really like it. I got a new muffler, tailpipe, and chrome tip installed for less than $150, is that a good price (i have no clue about this stuff, i just pay)???????? I also got a set of Black rockcrawler rims installed. Looks pretty sweet!!!!

that's awesome!! i am looking to have flowmasters put on my explorer soon. is yours a 4.0 or 5.0 and is it possible to make a sound clip of them. i would love to hear what they sound like. thanks!!

I have a 91' 4.0 V6. I like the way it sounds although a little louder wouldn't hurt. Its a really mellow sounding muffler. It doesn't sound like a "ricer" at all. I can't make a sound clip of it right now, but i can tell you that you won't be dissapointed with this muffler. If you to go louder get the 40 series instead of the 50 series. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

I have the 50 series on mine also, I am very happy with it. $150 is really good, I paid $170 and that was from a friend.

I got the 50 series installed not long ago too, and I am quite happy with it. It seems to have gotten a bit louder now that it has broken in some. Only thing thats hurting is my MPG cause I like the sound so much, and my X likes the gas!
