I've got an non-delta 40 series on the truck now with dual exhaust and its just a bit too much on the inside. Especially on longer trips. So I'm planning on changing it to a 50 serices delta or SUV. However the local flowmaster guy I had do oringal work left me less than satisfied to go back.

I went to my normal mechanic and he didn't carry Flowmaster but had a "Vortex" - which I had never heard of. He claimed it would flow similar to the flowmaster and be quieter than the 40 I have now. Or I could go grab a 50 series somewhere else and he'd put it on.

So my question is has anyone had any experience with the Vortex? I'm really looking to cut down on the interior noise over the 40 series.

Thanks

funny u mention this.. i went to a shop today and he said vortex.. i said no thanks.. i have a magnaflow in my trunk ;p

MagnaFlow in your trunk? You mean installed? If so - do you get much interior noise with it?

I cant speak for Vortex, but the 50 "delta flow" has got a decent rumble, but definitly not as loud as the "40". They say you get same peformance (or flow) too.

i meant the muffler in my trunk, i havent put the muffler in yet. itz going in next week hopefully

I know Alec is really big on Mangaflow's - Alec, how loud is it on the inside? and did you get the "wide open" model?
