I got my flowmaster catback from Summit a few months ago. Ordered it from their site. Mine is only a single in, single out though. If you want dual out, you will have to get it custom bent.

i would suggest going to a local muffler shop to get this done-unless you have access to a welder? If you bolt it on it's not as conventional as a weld on application-plus you can even get a full cat back system for under $200........good luck!

I'm thinking about putting a flowmaster in my '92 X also. WOuld the flowmaster 50 greatly enhance performace? How much did the final cost, with installation, come to? Also, white96X- are you saying that $200 will buy a true dual, catalytic exhaust system? That would be sweet

I wouldnt go as far as to say "greatly enhance" performance, but you could gain a couple of bhp, especially if you get an open-element type filter. Will get a good sound though :)

DaHeinah, i didnt look at your mods list before my last post- with the KKM intake, chip, and MAF you should notice a relatively decent gain with the exhaust

Thanks for the info STANN! I'm been thinking about putting one on for a while but never got around to doing it. How much would it cost me in the end?

True duals or a dual out muffler? I have no idea about true duals but with a single muffler you could probably get it done for abut $275.

I was hoping $275 for the true dual system :D . Would the dual out muffler system really increase performace though because it would seem as though the choking point would be Cat and the Muffler, not necessarily the end piece? Anyway, thanks for the info. Still considering...

true duals will do nothing on a 4.0l engine... it may actually hurt performance from being too free flowing..... you cant buy a blot on kit that has the dual out single in flowmaster, it isnt made.... you can get it made custom by an exhuast shop.....

I thought 98FordX24 was running a 50 series single in/dual out set up.
