Need some advise
In the process of installing a flowmaster 50 (524553) on my 1999 sport exp sohc 6yl
The flowmaster has the 2 inlet/1 out to the tail but I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out what to do to get the 2 pipes from the vehicle lined up to slide into the 2 inlet pipes of the new muffler. They are off by a good inch.
HAs anyone else done this particular job? Do I need to (somehow) bend these pipes inward from the vehicle to fit? Do I need to buy extensions? The rear tailpipe to muffler will need to to adapt to the 3 inch outlet but other than that, I'm stuck
