I would like to change the oil in the diff's.
Can someone tell me the grades and reccommend
a type.
It is starting to get cold here (Toronto) so I
thought it would be a good idea. I have already
done the transmission fluid to Mobil.
Thanks,
Tom

Yes, with 273 gearing.

273, damn! you meant 373 right?

ok, so i could use 75W90 in my LS too right with the friction additive? is that what they used stock?

I also used mobil one 75 90 and i have Limit Slip Locker w/373 gearing.....Make sure you get the Ford motorsport friction modifer.....

Used in mom's 98 as well....all stock..... FMS friction Modifer!!!!!

if u dident use the friction modifer you will more than likely burn up ur LS if you have one!!!

The synthetics have an additive that sometimes you don't need the friction modifier. If it chatters then add 1/2 bottle. Or just go ahead and add 1/2 bottle anyway.
