Hey folks. About a year ago, My Bronco ll quit on me driving down the highway. It had started making a loud clicking noise and it just quit.
Had it towed home and just now getting the funds to work on it. The flywheel has cracks from the center out. Thought this might be the problem, but when reaching in the access hole the flywheel turns freely, and the manual says you have to turn the engine with a wrench. Im just wondering if the crankshaft might be broken. If anyone has any ideas I certainly appreciate all feedback. I would sure like to get this old girl back on the road. Thanks
