fng ,my rear wiper dosent work

bought a 2000 eddie bauer with 53k,and rear wper used to work, how do I check whats wrong,. i.e., fuses ?

I'd also be interested in a fix. I have a 2000 and the rear wiper's always been a problem, either jamming under the lower edge of the window or only clearing a small area -- twice it's stopped working altogether then "fixed" itself, but it's been several months since it last stopped working and I'm trying to figure out if it's a quick-fix type of thing or a dead motor.

This doesen't help a dead motor, but I have heard if your rear windshield wiper is only wiping part of the rear window then you need to replace the window wiper arm. I don't know if this works or not, as I have not tried this, but if someone else can verify...

Yeah you can buy the arm to replace it, or there is a tread how to convert your wiper arm.

Check to be sure your rear hatch glass is completley latched. Do you have to push the button in all the way to open your hatch glass? If so it could need to be adjusted. There is a interlock switch on the glass latch. If the glass is not closed, the wiper won't work.
