fog generator

does anybody know anything about a car fog generator? perhaps one that you could mount underneath the car.. no, i'm not looking to put one on my explorer, I'm just interested to see if they make 'em

It's called a old Chevy without a smog pump.....why in the world would you need one anyways???? I can't see them being used on the street....for shows????

I don't know about one made for use on a car, but my neighbor got one for Halloween. You could get an inverter to use it with your cars electrical system, but as Leebo said, they are illegal to use, so what devious scheme do you have in mind?

I work for a band as a hobbie and we used to use fog machines but,i dont think in an outdoor atmosphere it would work like expected? But the ac\dc convertor idea would work if you had the right one,I imagine they draw alot because there is a heating element involved. Around here there is a chain music store called "Sam Ash" they sell a small one from "American D.J." for about $99. ...Should I be scared?

ya they pull about 800 watts for the little $99 american dj. i am a mobile dj and use two of them. we always got to be careful and have to run seperate wires and different outlets on different circuits to make sure we dont blow any breakers cause its real embarrasing when your equipment goes dead. just crack your heads on your engine or find some way to get antifreeze into it, that will make alot of smoke .
