I never really did find an answer to my question. I know that the two slots in the front bumper are close together, but I have seen lots of explorers with fog lights in there. I want a light that will fit in this location and look good in there. I saw in a Jeep catalog a light that looked like it would take up the entire slot (driving/fog) but it looked a little too big. any suggestions? Is it hard to get a drill bit in there to install them. Or should I mount them somewhere else. I just don't want to have to drill into the top of the bumper.

Anyone have Pics of the PIAA 980's,1500s, or basically any lights installed in the bumber slot? Please help me with this. I really like the 520's but I know they will get jacked at school and I don't want to drill and I'm too cheap for a grill guard.

That's just where I've got a cheap set on mine. The instal wasn't too hard, but you will get some pain on your hand. I put a piece of metal across the plastic part that is under the holes and mounted the lights to it. The wires were kinda hard to ground, but there are ways to do it. I went ahead and got some larger ones due to the fact that they were $25 at checker and I don't use them that often.

Beavis, that's the great thing about this site, you ask for it, and you get it. hahaha These are some cheap lights I put in the bumper slot, but I am going to put the PIAA 1400's in there soon. Just got some 1500's (with superwhite's) to replace the stock fogs.
