I have seen on here in the past about a mod that can turn the foglamps on without having to turn the headlights on. Where can I find instructions for this mod.

Thanks:D

I tried searching and couldn't find the post. Basically you wire the switch up to the parking lights instead of the driving lights. I've planned to do this, but haven't yet so I don't know the step by step.

Here is the link you guys are looking for:

Not sure if its going to work with your '97, but its worth a shot it only takes 2 minuets max.

Wasn't what I was looking for. Thank anyway.

On 2nd gen the fog lights only work with the regular headlights and turn off with the parking lights only and with the high beams.

I know there was a post regarding the ability for fog lights on with only parking likes on gen 2.

Before I changed anything on my '99, the fog lights would come on with the parking lights and/or with the headlights. The fog lights would turn off when the high beams are on.

Now after I jumped the relay mentioned in the above link. Now the fog lights come on with the parking lights and/or with the headlights and stay on even with high beams on.

What is it your trying to do?

On ours they only come on with the headlights. We want them to come on with the switch whenever.

In order to do this I believe you can hook the switch up to the parking ligts so that you can't forget to turn them off.
You run power from parking lights, throught the switch, to the lights etc.

Ahh my famous long lost post....

Thank you sir. That's the one!

do the bulbs the 2nd gen sploders use have 2 filaments? Any way to keep the low beams on when you put on the high beams?
I know there's a mod to do this for the 1st gen (along with 1st and 2nd gen rangers, and b2s), but how about the sploders?
