Ford Explorer the most difficult spark plug change HOWTO

Many of you know, that spark plug change on Explorer is a lot of fun)))
Especially last one spark that near ignition coil.
I made a video how to replace it EASY

On my 4.0L SOHC engine, I took the passenger's side wheel well liner out, bit more work than I expected the first time but beats newer transverse mounted V-engines where you have to take the intake manifold off to get to the bank next to the firewall.
 






Plugs and wires in under an hour easily. Way worse when you have to pull an intake manifold, not just work in some tight areas. These are like a 3-4 on the plug change difficulty scale.
 






Yeah, not bad if you do it regularly. I put a dab of high temp anti seize on the threads…keep away from the sparky end.

Running the wires is the worst for me. I hate that.

I always hated reaching behind the intake manifold to put the wires in the plastic holders
