I noticed yesterday that the Ford Pass App was killing my iPhone's battery. Let me explain.
The past three days I used the FOB to remote start my Explorer. It has been cold here.
Later in the day (the past three days) I noticed the Ford Pass App had used up to 40% of battery life running in the background for many hours. I haven't actually opened the app in a while. Also, in the evenings my phone has been warmer than normal.
Last night I deleted the app. I want to see what happens. My Ford Pass App was up to date.
I am on iOS 14.1 and Sync 3.4 20196.
I just installed iOS 14.2, which came out today.
Not sure what is going on.
Found this on reddit:
So go to settings, battery on your iPhone and take a look.
Let me know if you are having issues.....
