I was wondering if it is worth it to upgrade from stock wires to the Ford Racing 5.0 plug wires part number (M-12259-C301). I currenlty have Bosch Platinum +4's as my only ignition upgrade and it has improved gas mileage quite a bit more than I expected, so are the Ford Racing wires worth the 50 or so bucks they cost? What all will they improve and will any of this be noticeable enough?

I HAVE THE Bosch Platinum +4's, I NOTICE MORE PICK UP, BUT JUST A LITTLE. I didn't seem to get any better gas mileage. But it says up to 2 percent, and that would be hard to notice. Guess your one of the lucky ones. I used the motorcraft wires, I have never tried the ford racing.

Thats cool, I guess mainly Im wanting to know if new wires are even necessary or worth it. I mean the new plugs already helped alot but I dont know if I should get new wires also and if it would make enough to worry about or are even a necessity at all.

I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T SPEND THE MONEY, SAVE IT FOR A KKM AIR INTAKE. I DON'T HAVE ONE YET, BUT I HEAR THEY REALLY KICK@#$. THINK THEY GO FOR ABOUT $95.

Better wires won't hurt anything' get em.....

I'm not sure if those are the same as what I tried to buy earlier, but if so, they won't work as the FMS wires require a distributor. I ended up buying Taylor Spiro wires for about $70. They insure that your plugs get enough electricity for a good spark if nothing else.
