Ford Racing 5.0 X Supercharger Kit?

Ok- So I was surfing around for Supercharger options and came accross a *new* kit offered by FRPP. Here is the link http://www.oemfordparts.com/partdetails.asp?CategoryID=38&SubID=1998+5.0L+EXPLORER+SUPERCHARGER It sells for only $2495 and by the sounds of it, is constructed very similar to the Powerdyne units. It makes 6psi boost like the Powerdyne units as well. (link to the powerdyne SC: http://www.racesearch.com/CGI/racesearch_ec_7810.cgi?description_id=7810&product_number=K10430-101 So, my question is- with the Ford Racing 6psi centrifugal SC kit weighing in at $2495, and the Powerdyne 6psi centrifugal SC kit weighing in at $3582...what are the differences? why does the Ford Racing SC claim to make only 30% power increase compared the Powerdyne's claimed 40-50% power increase? it is most likly that powerdyne kit because Ford used the powerdyne kit for the mustangs as well as the f150 as there own kit privat labled which is standered busness for Ford.

check out superchargersonline.com they have the powerdyne for $2900. 8-10 lb pulleys are like $70.

frpp vs. powerdyne-

if they are the same kit, why do the parts pictured on both sites appear different, and why is there a price/hp gain difference?

show me the sites and pictures and i will tell you. the other thing is boost numbers on each kit may be difrent. ford will show lower numbers because they want the motor to last longer because they would be selling it under there name. also some time site dont always show the right supercharger kit in it pictures because they use one generic pic for all the kits.

hrmm, I need to stop reading posts like this.. I get to looking and I like it lol, I can't dump $2500 into 63hp! heh, I just gotta keep saying that to myself
