Question to those of you who are running the free flow catalytic converters; are they worth the money? I have noticed a fair amount of people that have them and was curious if they really do improve anything. I have heard both sides, that they are not worth it and that they are, but I wanted to know something directly from someone that has one.
i dont have them but from what a lot of others on here have said is that the X with its powerplant needs backpressure and the stock ones are pretty high flow anyway.....
I replace mine with high flow but wouldn't know the difference b/c I cleaned and/or replace every sensor, opening, valve, hose on the intake/emissions/exhaust list! All of that with a K&N, drilled front grille to get more cold air in (cool little flap I built to route the increased air volume ) and new cat back has really pepped her up. There is no doubt she is faster, but how much from the cats I'll never know...
