Hello, I have a 99 Explorer XLT, and about a week ago the front A/C stopped working. i.e. The rear air works fine when I turn on the front switches, however nithing blows out of the front vents no matter what setting on the switch. I replaced the resistor, and I know that the blower motor works fine itself. I talked to the mechanic down the street and he said that the "lindor actuator" may be broken. I have no clue what this is and I cant find any references to this part. It is 100 degrees out and I need some advice here. Thanks

It sounds like the blend door. Search for blend door and you will be able to fix it.

Does the blend door control the blower motor, because I am not 100% sure the blower motor is actually turning. That may be my problem. No climate control works in the front.

Blend door has nothing to do with the blower. If the blend door was broken, you'd get hot air or cold air, but something would be blowing. Nothing blowing at all, at any fan speed setting, seems to be the blower motor.

Have you checked the fuses?
