Front Axl U-Joint

Hey Folks,

Need to replace the front axl u-joints (at the wheel) on my '94 LTD. At NAPA they asked me what size bearings (there were two diameters to choose from). Anyone know offhand which ones I need?

You want the larger ones. The smaller u-joints apply to the Dana 28, which was never used on Explorers. This question is only asked because Explorers get lumped in with all Ranger based vehicles, which sometimes had a D28 and sometimes a D35.
