can anyone tell me how expensive it would be to replace a lower valence bumper where the fog lights go on the 95+ and newer models. i drove through some bad ass rocks, hit a bump where it was paved again and i got a decent part of the bumper messed up. i might not fix it since its hardly noticable and its on the bottom half. so anyways can anyone give me a quote on how much you think this will cost to repair?
I wouldn't worry about all the plastic unless you want it to look good instead of perform good....... I took that plastic part off first time I went wheeling.......... hit ground crossing a ditch and left the whole plastic bumper cover right there. Since then all I had was the bumper itself with no moldings. It has been now replaced with Smittybilt tube winch bumper...... what a change!!!
Your regular bumper is not in any way special...... XLT is the same as Limited...... the only difference is in that plastic part (cover). Mine is still available.....hanging in my garage.
PS. Hitting the fender though? been there, done that..... last time we went to Attica I hit mine in the back on both sides pretty bad (all at the same time) leaving the tubes..... usuall.
