Both front doors don't unlock with the keyless entry remote and it seems like it's only when it's cold outside. Also, when the doors don't unlock with the remote, I can't use the key either. The only way I can get in is to open one of the back doors and reach up to the front, or keep trying the remote until it works. I was told there was a shaft going from the lock actuator to the lock knob on the door panel that may have come disconnected making it difficult to get open. Is there any truth to this?

I had this same problem if it is the same thing wrong you should be able to unlock it with the key by first turning the key to the left and then to the right and jiggle it a few times. If you look at the when it is open and there is a hole on the bottem left corrner you have a rivit that has broken off and needs to be relaced.
