Front end "clunking" noise

2009 Sport Trac XLT..89,000km ... at low speeds I am hearing/ feeling a clunking coming from the front end...feel it through the steering wheel... intermittent at cold start-up but always there after a short drive.. My service centre checked all suspension, linkage, calipers, tie-rods and bushings and reported everything was in order with new replacement lower ball joints recently installed prior to my purchase 3 months ago.
Any one experienced anything similar or any suggestions what else to look for other than the obvious already checked above?
