About 8 months ago, I had my radius arm bushing replaced. Following the repair, I didn't notice any particular problems with the front end of the Exp. For about the last 4 months though, I've noticed a considerably loud knocking sound eminating from the right front end. I've not noticed any loose connecting bars from steering or suspension. It only happens when I make left-hand turns. Also, I've inspected the radius are bushings for wear and they are completely fine. I'm at a loss. I'd prefer not having the local suspension and alignment shop charge me $250 for inspection and $500 for any possible parts and labor. If anyone has suggestions of tests I can do at home or possible causes, please let me know.

Thanks,

Chris

I have the same thing and have not been able to track it down. I think its the spring moving around in its perch. I get it when I offroad, and sometimes over speed bumps. I have had my clunk for over 2 years and have not been able to find a fix for it.

Thanks

I have that same problem on my 91. I also think its from the coil spring.

Any one else?

Same thing here after the 4" lift. I always thought it was the slip yoke in the RF axle shaft binding. I removed the boot and found no obvious signs of wear so maybe I'm wrong...
