I have a 99 explorer sport and came across 4inch leaf springs for it on truckperformance.com, and I am considering this for my rear. I have torsion bars up front and i only can get about 2 inches from them. I would like to know what my options are for lifting the front up of my truck.

are you 2x4 or 4x4?

new spindles for 2wd
4wd i guess you can call up companies and see if they well sell you just the front of a 4 inch lift kit. Or just buy the parts needed independently.

4wd...what is invovled lifting the front end...like i have to drop the front dff and ****

4 wheel parts will sell kits front and rear seperate....you can get a superlift 4" front or trailmaster 4" front

i cant find it at all on that site

wouldnt it be cheaper to buy the whole kit with the springs?.......go to www.superlift.com and poke around on there there is a spot were it has the directions for the 4in kit take a look at those.

So Much $$$$$$$

get EB D44 or D30 and sas it

ya cuz thats gonna be a lot less than buying a 4" kit....

jason his is a second gen so an SAS is more expensive and requires alot more plaing and modifaications. Unlike the first gen were the EB D44 slips ito place almost naturally. With the IFS it takes a ton more time, money and plaining.

I know but you have to remove half the stuff just to put the lift on. And everyone I have talked to on them lifts say they suck and break easy. check the back forms taxx did his and has it on here somewhere. He said the sas was worth it. Here is his build up.
