I have a noise on the drivers side front that is more prevelent when the truck is torqued ie going into my driveway when one wheel hits the lip before the other or going over snoow ripples. I had the front shocks replaced with no luck the mechanic says everthing looks tight. Any help is appreaciated, the noise is driving me crazy.

Sway bar end links/frame mount bushings. Control arm bushings. Your mechanic ain't very good if he didn't think of either of those things. They're notorious for causing noise on our trucks. If not either of those things, it may be your torsion bar adjusters. Do a search for any of those three things and you'll find plenty. The sway bar end links/bushings are an easy repair, the other two are a little more involved. Good luck, welcome to the site.

We must have the same mechanic, I've actually had 3 guys said "everything looks tight". I'm getting ready to do this on my 01 minivan and checked my explorer's sway bar links, I could jiggle the driver's side about 1/16 inch.
