front end noise

Been nursing a leaky steering pump for a while. Now I am getting a grinding noise out of the front end. Trying to steer the thing either semi locks it in the direction you are trying to steer. I mean when you go right it kind of clunks and stays until you force it to the center. Kind of scary for the moment. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Put new tie rods and drag link on last summer. Had it aligned then too. Could be Pittman arm is shot? Thanks!!

You could have air in the lines, especially if your PS pump is leaking. You may want to fix that first and go from there.
