Well I did buy and install the new "B" torsion bars that I wanted to, thanks to Robert :) We got it to 41 inches in the front and a good 43 inches in the back all around, and all was well. I was very happy with how it looked and such. Well its been about 2 weeks and the front has dropped down in the same position it was before, and the right side is sagging just like it was before. But not nearly as bad. We actually adjusted the right front 1/4 of an inch higher than the left when it was done. Now I think it sits about 1/4-1/2 inch lower then the left side.

I'll take some pictures when I get home, i'm at school right now.

Anyway, I took it down to the shop that put my lift on, the shop that gave me some trouble, but since has been more kind. I take it down there, guy comes out and first says "Woah, that is messed up" Obviously.

So he gets down, he's taking a look at it, and shows me a little dent in the Torsion bar extender thingy, whatever its called, and says that could be doing it, I said umm no, its just a dent in some metal. He keeps looking and I told him that I just replaced my torsion bars, since that is what they told me to do.

(the recommended changing the torsion bars when it first started sagging pretty bad)

So he says, well did you put these in yourself? I said yeah, he says that they are put in backwards, and the bars are twisting the wrong way, which is why its so messed up. I told him that when we did it we pulled off the old ones layed em down, and put the new ones in exactly like the old ones were in. His response is "they must of been put in wrong before", I said "well then you guys put them in, incorrectly" And of course he says that they did it right, blah blah, i'm like fine, i'll look into it, but I'll be back. He recommended going down to a dealer and have em take a look at it to see if the bars were put in correctly. I just decided to walk down his parking lot and fidn and explorer and show him that the bars on that one, were put in the same way mine were.

His reply "Those bars must be put in wrong too" I didn't know what to say. I'm gonna drop it off and take some real time to look at it this week or next week. But does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

I do have warrior shackles but, it shouldn't make the back 3-4" higher then the front. Everyone else just twists their bars a bit to match the Shackles.

Any tips would be great, I'll try anything.

Sorry for the long post.

Make sure the adjuster bolts didn't back off. It happens as the factory loctite wears away.

I was unable to take any pictures as when I went to get my digital camera I discovered that someone had somehow managed to bust it, I'm very pleased with that.

I'll take a look at the adjuster bolts when i get out of school, I don't think they have moved at all but who knows they could of. When me and robert put the new ones on, they were both cranked all the way, and that was without the loctite or whatever ford puts on it originally.

Also my tires boe, or bow out, whatever, and has caused a ridiculous amount of wear on the insides of my tires, I'm not sure yet, but my front tires may be trashed. I'm running into a bunch of things that shouldn't even be an issue, but seem to love to pester me.

Atleast if all goes well, I should have most of my turbo done thiw weekend, yeah sure, I've said it a million times, but actually my friend took thursday-sunday off, and says we'll get most of it done, if not all of it. My hopes are high. But I'm sure i'll run into a million problems with that as well.

You may want to try readjusting them as this is usually required after installing new ones. Another problem may be that the bars you bought may not have a high enough spring rate in them to raise up the car at the height you want while doing their primary purpose (holding the car up). Alternatively purchase some different springs, preferably aftermarket ones. I know one maufacturer that makes them.

The "B" code bars are the third stiffest. If done right, you can easily max the suspension out using them with the TT.

If I'm not mistaken, which I easily could be.

I thought that the "B" bars were the stiffest that Ford makes.

There is a code 1 and 2 that are stiffer.

Hmmm, I called 2 diff Ford Dealerships here in Mesa, and they both said that "B" is the stiffest one that they make, I'll have to look into this 1 & 2 thing.
