anything over 30+ MPH i get a ticking/clicking noise from the driver front. i have put the truck on the lift and tried to replicate noise, i went past 50 mph and nothing. 2 other techs and my boss including myself have no clue what it could be, i have checked rocks in the treads, rust on the rotors, anything in or around spindle. one of my co-workers suggested a bearing, i have never heard a bearing make this noise ever, but is it possible? there is no hum or feeling in steering wheel. please help, its rather embarrasing driving along next to people with the windows open, only to watch them quickly roll them up, its annoying.

What the F$%K!!!

Figured it out, and i would have never guessed......ever! after putting the truck on the lift again today to maybe see something i missed before i found nothing....until i tried to put the tire back on, i felt the wheel weight move a little in my hand.. WHAT!? turns out that after i rebalanced my tires a couple weeks ago i used a larger wheel weight than i was supposed to. SOAB! i almost spent some major dollars on some bearings. the wheel weight was slapping against the rim after 30+ mph and the wind resistence, no wonder i could not replicate on the lift!

Sidenote: decided i was in such a happy mood that i saved money on the bearings, i decided to get my front brakes done, got "Wagner Centric" Rotors and "Wagner Thermo Quiet EDGE" Pads. holy crap my 3rd Gen actually stops now. ill have pics on my site soon
