front end u joint replacement..some advice please

to change the front driveshaft u joint do i have pull alot or should the driveshaft just drop out? and tips on replacement is appreciated thanks

Out of the transfer case?

I recall it just pulls out, yes. Maybe the boot is hanging it up?

no fluid should leak out right just a little bit?

No fluid at all should leak out.
