Just mount it the same as you would stock, you should be able to make it sit about the same, and the fiberglass will hold it. If you are really concerned, you can make a backing plate out of some thin metal to put on the inside of the fender.

Either that, or you can buy a universal antenna and mount it anywhere you want.

You can get an amplified antenna for about $25 at advance. it sticks to the inside of your windsheild just behind your rear veiw mirror ( or anywhere on your windsheild) I got one for my Ex because I, for the life of me, couldnt get reception thru my factory antenna. It works just as good if not better than the radio in my car.

i love this idea. i will check in to it. but still open to any ideas. keep them comming

I went with the window mount power antenna. It works great. I get stations the my wifes new 2012 doesnt even get hahaha

Glad I could promote a helpful idea :D

I love mine, forgot I even had one since the rear view mirror kind of hides it!

Yea i like it and i dont need to drill in to the fiber glass :d they also had a magnet mount one for the roof. It just sticks on like a sat radio antenna. I will be recominding this to every one. Its easy and fast. You can even power it off the remote amp wire. Its perfect.
