I have a 95 Explorer Limited whose front passenger seat has stopped moving backwards. It moves forward fine, but will not move back at all, so when someone slides it forward it is stuck there. Pretty soon no one will be able to fit in it. Thanks for any solutions you may have.

I would start with cleaning the track out, then check the motor, then the switch. Lets hope for a wedged dime.:)

I'm not home right now, but I tried getting to the track to clean it out, but there's no room to get under the seat with all the wires and the power box. All the other seat functions work correctly--up/down, seat back goes back, seat tilts forward and back and moves forward fine. It just doesn't move back.

I took out the seat and the track is clean. Does have a wiring diagram or know which color of wires go where? Everything is in connectors, so it is not obvious which pins in the connectors to jump to reverse the switch and the motor.
