Ok...stupid question time. 2004 Ford Sport Trac. Want to replace the front shocks...is it as easy as it looks? Any how to's or suggestions? Everything is welcome. I am more of a motorcycle person, but I hate to pay mechanics for easy stuff.

Thanks!!

If you are mechanically inclined and have patience, then you are good to go.

I think the stock bottom bolts are 10mm. The trick to the top nut is you need to use a small wrench on the tip of the stud sticking out above the nut to keep the stud from turning while you wrench on the nut.

I did my front ones last week.

Oh yeah, I always forget that I removed my inner fenderwell stuff and trimmed my front bumper years ago and that always makes it easier to do things on my truck. :D

It really is super easy though. I did the front ones about 4 months ago and it only took me about 2 hours because I did brakes also.

Thanks!!

You guys ROCK!!! Thanks so much! I am going to do this. Should be pretty easy.
