Since I am planning to replace both my upper balljoints I have been rooting around under (and around) my Ex. and noted that on the OSF it has the two piece setup.

Due to the heavy rust I reckon I will not be able to separate the two pieces. My best option would be to remove the entire assembly and junk it. I have the part with the balljoint itself, but what I need is the other half of the arm as well as a set of aligning bolts that hold the arm to the chassis.

Can our usual suppliers help please?

If you're looking for new, I used Rockauto. I replaced both uppers with single piece arms, and installed the camber adjuster bolts/cams. The price isn't so bad, and with the Moog arms the ball joint is replaceable unlike the stock ones

Wish I had paid this more attention when I bought a truck load of parts when I was in the States last year! No I don't want new as I just need the metal arm itself. I have a new ball joint. Hoping ChrisQ is breaking a good Ex. with a good used part.

Sounds good!

I forgot to add, in addition to the set of aligning bolts needed, I will need a set of bolts that affix the two pieces of the arm together as well. Can you toss in a set please? Will Paypal you the money.

can do the conecting bolts with it. cheers chris

Will Paypal.com you the monies tonight!

EDIT: Monies sent!

Got the bits this morning, thanks ChrisQ!

Just wanted to say 'thank you ChrisQ' part fitted (with a whole bunch of new bits) - my ball joints etc. so pretty badly shot TBH and I'm glad I replaced them when I did.

Anyways, thanks again big guy!
