To All,

Have a 2003 2WD and installed new wider rims and tires. Noticed that the front right tire wearing on the inside if of tire. Truck drives straight wondering if this is a control arm problem.

I would get an alignment job first. Just because it tracks straight going down the road does not necessarily mean the alignment is correct. At that time (assuming it is an honest shop) they can tell you if the ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, etc. are okay.

How many miles on the truck? The shocks are known for going out quickly, I would invest in some good aftermarket shocks.

There is only 60,000 on this 2003 and I replaced the shocks in 2005 after I bought it.

Hmm well maybe not the shocks, although they are 4 years old now I would probably start elsewhere. An alignment probably would tell alot...

tire wear on the inside suggests a negative camber issue, maybe you can have the camber checked immediately because it will eat the tires quickly if the camber is indeed off.
