Front Wheel Bearings

98 XLT SOHC 4x4
Is there a recommended maintenance interval for the front wheel bearings on my 98 Explorer? I have 70K miles and never had them repacked.
 






It is a non serviceable(sealed) front hub assembly on the 4x4's. Mine went out at 80K miles and they are a pricey $175 a side!
