is there any differerences on the cpl, wheel hub on a -98,-99.-00 "X"? i have a bad bearing front right, and i found cpl hubs on the scrap yard, i thought it would be easyer to just change the cpl hub than the bearing
no sport, just regular 4.0sohc.
my X havnt gone 40'miles yet and still one bearing gone bad thats crap! and i havnt gone in some deep water either...

bump! Anyone?

what do you mean by cpl? If you are going to change the front hubs, any from a 97+ 4x4 should work fine on your 2000.

The hub bearings are a complete assembly. You can not just change the bearings. You have to replace the whole assembly. The hub assemblies from any 95+ model are the same.

cpl, = complete
and by cpl hubs i meant the whole unit hub bearing ...the lot, the assembly as you call it.
thankx! but i'm trying to get Ford (yeah right  ) to take some of the cost for the unit if i'm getting a new one, i havn't passed 36'miles yet.. But i probably ending up getting a good one from the scrapyard instead..
