Spray soapy water around the outside perimeter of the windshield, under the rubber trim. Blow compressed air around the inside of the glass and you should be able to pin point your leak. You should be able to lift the rubber moulding and seal the leak (after cleaning the area and drying it completely) Use primerless urethane to seal it. You can get a tube of it at the glass shop or parts store.

Use lots of soapy water and if you don't have any compressed air, you shold be able to turn on the heater blower and shut the windows and doors to find the leak. Compressed air works better.

Good luck.

a squart bottle with coloured water. just use food dye.

I have the same problem, only i dont need to replace the windshield cause there is now cracks. Problem i am having is moulding is coming off around the winshield.cause from deteriation can i replace the moulding without having a new windshield. All the windshield repair facilitys want me to replace the windshield, just dont understand why they cant take my winshield out and replace the moulding.

Umm, because it's 16 years old, and so is the urethane holding it in. It's a crap shoot as to whether or not it will come out in one piece, or break. You might be able to talk one of them into trying, if you let them know up front that you know it could break, and that you won't hold them responsible if it does. I would still plan/budget for a new one, becuase there is a good chance it will break.

call around they have cheap windsheild places. i paid 127 bucks for the one on my 94. thats new too and with installed.
