My front windshield wiper quit completely. Nothing at any speed, no washer, nothing. When I got home, I turned the truck off, then back on, and it worked fine again. Anyone experience this?

I found that if the key dosnt return to the "ON" detent after you start the truck they won't work.

Thank you so much! This makes perfect sense!

I noticed that, if my wiper switch was on, they'd "jump" as I turned the key on to start. I've now told my wife that, if the wipers stop working, she can stop the truck and wiggle the ignition key, or try restarting the truck.

I wonder if the poor connection is in the key lock cylinder, or in the steering column side of the wiring... ie, if I replaced the key lock cylinder if that would fix the problem for good. Or until the next time.

I had the exact same issue and found that the key didn't return to the run position.
I had replaced my ignition switch and key cylinder recently, cylinder is still a little stiff.
