I have an 02 XLT 4X4 with 158k. I had a small problem with the motor and had to change it out. Two days after the swap my O/D light started flashing

I have rechecked every connection at least 2 times, I have changed the solenoid pack, filter, adjusted both bands, flushed it with Mobile1. Took it out and same problem.
The light comes on above 50mph (costing or WOT does not matter) I can drive all day under that no light. The truck shifts great no problems at all and yes I would notice if it was slipping. It engine brakes, no delay going into drive or reverse the O/D button works. My stand alone reader will not pull the code and neither will my carputer infact my scan XL software shows every thing is great.
I know if anyone can help as I don't know the code, I just hate having to go to ford and paying $200 just to get the code.
Is there a sensor that could be bad? One for high speeds. Any advise would be great.
