Couldn't find much on a search---apologies if my google-fu is weak.
I ordered a new Motorcraft fuel pump/sender unit the other day, and I'm going to be dropping the tank to swap it out. Old one is still running at 212k miles, but I feel like I'm running on borrowed time. The fuel pressure is also bleeding completely off if the trucklet sits overnight, so I think it's due. Anyway, I digress...
I'm assuming that the hard filler neck parts are still good, but I'd like to change out the hoses. Are they 1-1/4" or 1-1/2"? Also, are y'all using stainless screw/worm drive clamps to secure them? Any additional considerations/gotchas?
