I don't have a picture, but look under the vehicle along the driver's side frame rail, it's either next to the trans bellhousing or the rear of the engine, been a little while since I've looked at that so I might not be exact. You'll need a set of fuel line disconnect tools though, try to get the good metal ones instead of the crappy plastic ones.
yeah, it's kind of under your left foot on the driver's side. you'll need a special tool to release the clips that hold it on the fuel line (several different designs available at any auto parts store). spray and clean out the connector well before trying to remove. finesse is what's needed to release the retaining clips, force will not do it. it's also a good idea to get the pressure out of the fuel line first (run engine and pull the fuse or relay until engine stalls). it can be a real PITA to get the old filter off, but keep at it and you'll get it off. remember... finesse.
Thanks for your help guys. Good to know it takes a special tool. In the past it was just the standard white simple clips on all my other cars. I will probably get a good metal set as you guys mentioned worth the extra $$$ in the long run I guess.
