I have a 2000 Explorer 5.0 I am having a slight stumble in rpm's from about 1500 to 1800 rpm. I was checking the fuel pressure tonight. It was a steady 64 psi KOEO and KOER. I found that to be high per the Haynes manual. Max is 50 psi. A guy at Autozone thinks this might be the right pressure, because I might have a returnless system. Is this true? So the manual told me to change the FPR. Well here lies the problem. I have been reading on how to change the FPR, but cant find anything using the search. There is plenty on the 4.0, but nothing on the 5.0 The manual says to unplug the vacuum line, and then unbolt. If i am looking at the right thing, there is no bolts holding this thing in place. It is mounted on top of the fuel rail, and it looks like a big snap ring holding it in place. I am lost on this one.

Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks
Kevin.... Sorry for the long post

You have a returnless system and that is not a regulator. The PCM modulates the pump to control pressure utilizing a sensor.

Regardless, you don't have a pressure problem. Specs on your car call for 65 psi plus or minus 8 psi.
