any way to tell if it's a screw in type regulator or a push in with a couple bolts type connection.

can we tell with the regulator still installed numbers on it or maybe something from the vin #?

thanks all
j

The FP Regulator has a screw in fuel line, push on vacuum line, and two screws holding it to the fuel rail. On my original motorcraft there was a part number on the top.

Ther '91 and the later 1st gens use a different FPR.

The FPR on the 91 motor I rebuilt would not fit on the fuel rail from our '92 truck. The fuel line as it connects to the FPR is different.

I think I still have the '91 FPR if you want the ford part # off it.
