Maybe someone can answer this one? On my 04 explorer 4.0 with no fuel pressure test valve how do I release the fuel pressure in order to disconnect the fuel line at the rail? I can't crank the engine anymore so the relay procedure isn't an option. Can I take the rack off the top of the engine without losing pressure? Asking because I am removing engine. Thanks in advance.

if the engine has been sitting for a while, the pressure should have bled down by now.

I was thinking that but the line didn't want to release so I questioned it, thanks

I've found that sometimes you have to push the lines in toward each other, then insert the tool under the spring lock then the lines will release.
