Fuel Pump Disconnect

I have a 2001 x 4.0 v6 SOHC what is the best way to disconnect the fuel pump as I want to run some cleaner thru the fuel rail.

Pull the electrical connector off the emergency fuel pump shutoff switch. The switch is under the top edge of the carpet in the front, passenger side. Pull the connector off while it is running. After a couple of minutes it will sputter and die once the engine runs out of fuel. Be sure and plug the connector back in when you are done or it won't run.
