fuel pump issue?

My 93 with 275k has been running great until this morn.I turned the key on to start and heard the fuel pump run on instead of the 2-3 second prime and shut off when running.I switched relay's around and it still runs on.Pulled fuel return line by schrader valve and it looks like it is pumping enough fuel.It did start and idled for a brief time before it started to load up and cel came on.I do not have a code reader.What do you all think it might be or what should I check next?

How to pull codes without a scanner.

Start there and see what the PCM thinks is wrong.

I went out to read code and when I turned ign. on the pump worked like it was supposed to.I am thinking relay might be hanging up.I am going to replace relays for peace of mind.Also the cel cleared itself and I was not able to duplicate scenario.I am still going to read codes if any and see if anything shows up.
On a side note I have an alternator that is going south(squealing real bad) and I think it also is not charging properly.Do not know if related but I am replacing.

On the alternator its best to replace it before it happens to maybe lock up and burn you serpentine belt up as that may cause other problems.

I just replaced it.It seems ok with the exception of an occasional stutter after start up.It revs up by itself,cel flutters and then it settles down.I am hoping I do not still have a gremlin somwhere.

When I pulled codes I got a 133 code.I went ahead and drove to work this morn. and all was well for the most part.It did stutter with a quick blink of the cel and then was fine but did it 2 more times on the way(just a real quick blip)of cel.Any ideas?

Might want to double check the DTC because I don't have a listing for 133. 129 & 136 are as close to 133 as it gets.
