Hello members glad to join the party I have a 1995 explorer V6 with a fuel pump that sometimes comes on then sometimes doesn't. I replaced it with a new one, it is doing the same thing. If I just turn the key and listen and don't hear the pump come on I will leave the key turned to the on position and about twenty seconds later the pump will engage and it will start. Also sometimes when I'm driving it will stop pumping again if I just turn the key on and wait it will finally engage and then start. Anybody have a clue what they think it might be. Maybe a short in the wiring. It's just a little weird that it's doing the same thing that the old one did I'm guessing it wasn't a bad pump.
