As most of you know I have made reference to the pug shuttle fuel smell. The original owner told he it cost them 3 grand to replace both ac units because fuel had gotten into the ac duct work. HTF could this happen. I was told it was a massive leak the van doesn't smell of fuel. I know my gto had a fuel pressure gauge mounted on the air intake on the bottom of the windshield were most guages are mounted the line blown and fuel entered the dash and I could never get rid of gas once it got absorbed into the plastics. My only smell is old grease like from an old pickup or city bus no gas. She wouldn't lie because you don't tell people that who are looking at your truck.
I read on line that 75% of Aerostar are rotting out and crushed. My van is 99%.9 rust free. My paint is chalked so paint around the roof rack is starting to peel and I got some surface rust around the screws.
