Hello everyone, when I bought my ‘07 Explorer the HVAC only worked on the highest speed. I changed out the blower motor resistor and got all four speeds back, however, the blower felt really weak. Eventually I started getting a heavy electronic burning smell from the vents and nearly nothing was coming out on the first speed. I swapped out the blower motor with a brand new unit and now it’s just as weak as it was before. No change. What could this be? I still have a faint burning smell from the vents that kind of smells moldy too. My cowl is clean and the screen above the blower was clean too when I swapped it out. Also, almost nothing comes out of the rear vents either no matter what speed. It’s a base XLT with no rear controls or anything fancy. Thank you.
