Fuses?

I am running 4 neons through the cig lighter, but in the future plan on running it from the battery. But I am clueless on how to install a fuse on the wire. I know you need a fuse within 10 feet of the battery or something like that, and I see those fuses with the 2 metal prongs at Autozone but have no idea how to wire them in. Any help is welcome. Thanks again guys!

When you are in the auto parts store, ask for an IN-LINE fuse holder. They come as either a two piece plastic one with a glass fuse inside, or a square one for spade(two metal prong) ones.

Wire them as close to the battery as possible- they only protect what is after them! They are simple to wire in, just get the little connectors that crimp and connect to the wire. The auto parts person should know what you need.
