wasup, im new to this board and all.

just have a question ya'll might be able to answer for me.

well i have a 99 explorer, and recently installed the 4" trailmaster suspension lift. now they recommend to buy their driveshaft but its hella expensive. like 600 dollars expensive.
i tried using my stock driveshaft, but i think its just a little too short and the counter weight is hitting my brackets.

anyone know what the measurements could be to get one custom made or possibly customize the stock driveshaft i have now??

i would appreciate your expertise, fellaz.

I would find a local driveshaft shop and take the one you have in. Just hand it to them and tell them you need it about 3" longer. They should be able to extend it fairly easily.

And Welcome!!:D Always nice to see another wheeler join!

thanx robb.

i see your from richmond. do you do any offroading here in va?

Not much at all!! You know where you are.............go to the other side!:D Really, all that Va has public is GWNF and that is out near Harrisburg. Va is horrible for wheeling, central Va is worse.

yeah, i know what you mean.

i usually go down towards north carolina and ride the beach. there are sand dunes there, but they say its illegal to drive on them.

Welcome.

Please do not double post, thanks.
